At Fimex we have the privilege and the duty of working for a company whose reputation has been earned and safeguarded over the years through consistency, integrity, and ethical conduct. This Code is our guide to doing what is right — in how we treat one another and how we deal with clients, suppliers, society, and government.
The Five Principles
Use good judgment, avoid misconduct, and ask for guidance when in doubt.
Own your actions and their consequences across the company.
Respect the truth and the property of others in everything you do.
Comply with the Code and the law wherever you are. When they conflict, the law prevails.
Understand it, apply it, and help prevent violations around you.
What the Code Covers
Everyone has a duty to maintain Fimex's ethical conduct. Report concerns to your manager, HR, the Board, or this anonymous channel. The Company investigates seriously and confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith is itself a Code violation.
Guarantee accurate, complete, and timely records — financial statements, quality reports, payroll, production, maintenance. Never falsify a document or distort the nature of an action.
Protect Company assets and use them only as intended. Occasional personal use (a phone call, an email) is fine; excessive personal use, theft, or using assets for outside business is not.
Protect all non-public information — contacts, pricing, project plans, technical specs, employee data. Don't trade on inside information. Handle personal data lawfully and only for legitimate business purposes.
Act in Fimex's best interest. Personal activities, investments, outside employment, or family/friend relationships must not interfere — or appear to interfere — with your decisions on the Company's behalf. When in doubt, ask and seek written approval.
Never accept gifts in exchange for promises, cash equivalents, or gifts beyond a modest value. Occasional business meals are acceptable. Gifts from suppliers at holidays go to HR.
Bribery of government officials is illegal and prohibited. Never offer anything of value for favorable treatment. Get Board approval before providing anything of value to an official, and record all payments properly.
Fimex commits that its products contain no conflict minerals (tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold) from sources on the SEC list, and requires suppliers to source responsibly with certificates of origin.
Fimex competes fairly and complies with competition law everywhere it operates. Gather competitive intelligence only through legal and ethical means — never theft, eavesdropping, hacking, or misrepresentation.
The Code applies to everyone at Fimex. Violations are investigated confidentially and may result in progressive discipline up to dismissal or legal action. Managers (and up) sign acknowledgment of the Code periodically.
Anonymous Channel
If you witness conduct that worries you or may violate this Code, report it. This channel is fully anonymous — we do not ask for your name or email. Reports reach Human Resources directly and are handled confidentially. There are no reprisals against anyone who reports in good faith.
