In accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), we request that you carefully read the terms and conditions contained in this Privacy Notice, applicable to all products, services, programs, and/or websites of Fimex S.A. de C.V. (hereinafter "FIMEX") and all companies related to said entity. FIMEX may publish specific privacy notices or updates; however, through this website the privacy policies applicable to personal data provided to us are made publicly available.

FIMEX does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as health status, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, or union membership) through this website. If sensitive data is required in connection with employment or specific contractual obligations, express written consent will be obtained separately in accordance with Article 9 of the LFPDPPP.

We process personal data on the following legal bases: (a) your consent; (b) the performance or negotiation of a contract with you or your company; (c) compliance with legal obligations under Mexican and applicable international law; and (d) our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, provided these do not override your fundamental rights.
You may contact the FIMEX Privacy Department at the email and/or phone number listed below for any questions or comments regarding your personal data. You may also request to access, rectify, cancel, or object to the processing of your data, as well as limit its use or disclosure, or revoke your consent, under the terms of the LFPDPPP and other applicable provisions.
To exercise these rights, your request must include: (I) your name and address (required for response); (II) a copy of your official ID (passport, voter's credential, driver's license, or professional license); (III) a clear and precise description of the personal data you wish to access, rectify, cancel, or object to, and any other element that facilitates locating your data; and (IV) any other requirement established by the LFPDPPP and/or other applicable provisions. You may request at any time that commercial messages or new product information be suspended or cancelled.
FIMEX will respond to your ARCO request within 20 business days from the date of receipt. If the request is granted, the corresponding action will be taken within 15 business days following the communication of the response.
If you believe your right to protection of personal data has been infringed, you may file a complaint with the Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI) at www.inai.org.mx.
FIMEX may share all or part of your personal data with any company related to Fimex S.A. de C.V., as well as with entities authorized under Mexican law to supervise our activities and product operations, who may or may not process your personal data on behalf of FIMEX in accordance with the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice. FIMEX reserves the right to share your personal data with administrative, judicial, or governmental authorities of any type within the United Mexican States. FIMEX may also transfer your personal data to advisors, collection service providers, financial service providers, authorities, and any acquirer of the company or its assets, subsidiaries, divisions, or businesses. Except in these cases, FIMEX will not share or transfer your personal data to third parties except as provided by the LFPDPPP or any other applicable legislation.
FIMEX may store your personal data in databases located in the United Mexican States or abroad, with the understanding that reasonable commercial technology and security policies and standards have been implemented to protect the information provided to us. When personal data is transferred internationally, FIMEX ensures that the receiving party provides an adequate level of protection in accordance with the LFPDPPP and its Regulations, and where applicable, through contractual clauses that guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.
Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this notice, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including tax and commercial record-keeping requirements under Mexican law), and to resolve disputes. When personal data is no longer needed, it will be securely deleted or anonymized. As a general guideline, commercial and financial records are retained for 10 years in accordance with Mexican fiscal legislation; employment records are retained for the period required by labor law; and website inquiry data is retained for 3 years from last contact unless a longer period is legally required.
This website may use essential cookies (necessary for the website to function), analytics cookies (to understand how visitors use the site), and functional cookies (to remember your preferences). We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. Analytics may be provided by third-party services such as Google Analytics. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Fimex does not sell, share, or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you, to request deletion of your personal information, to request correction of inaccurate personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. FIMEX reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Privacy Notice, in which case the modification will be notified through the means of communication that FIMEX deems most appropriate (e.g., email, media notices, direct communication, and/or an announcement on our website or at our offices). In any case, you will have the right to cancel and/or rectify your personal data as well as to limit their use and disclosure in the event of a change in the terms of this Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice, the processing of your personal data, and all related documents are governed by the LFPDPPP and all other laws and regulations of the United Mexican States. Acceptance of this Privacy Notice or the simple continuation of requesting services after the Privacy Notice has been published and made available implies express acceptance of its terms and your express submission to the courts of Guadalajara, Jalisco, for any controversy or claim arising from this Privacy Notice.
In compliance with the General Law of Administrative Responsibilities, the Federal Labor Law, and the Mexican Official Standard NOM-035-STPS-2018 on psychosocial risk factors at work, FIMEX maintains a confidential reporting channel for employees, contractors, suppliers, customers, and any third party who wishes to report misconduct, including but not limited to: workplace harassment or violence, sexual harassment, discrimination of any kind, fraud, corruption, bribery, conflicts of interest, misuse of company assets, violations of law, and breaches of our Code of Conduct and internal policies.
How to file a report
Reports can be submitted directly to the Human Resources Department by email. Reports may be submitted anonymously or with your identification. FIMEX will treat all reports with strict confidentiality and will investigate them diligently. Reprisals of any kind against persons who report misconduct in good faith are strictly prohibited, and any retaliation shall be sanctioned in accordance with our internal policies and applicable law.
